Delivery Updates

Updated 23rd November 2022

Potential Processing Delays

Bert and Roxy is currently open and processing your orders as normal. Orders are being dispatched at least twice weekly. Orders due to be dispatched on a Royal Mail strike day will be help to the following working day.

Potential Shipping and Delivery Delays

UK postal services are experiencing some minor delays currently. This is affecting both UK orders and international orders. This is due to covid-19 related staff shortages and ongoing strikes with Royal Mail (postal service in UK).

Royal Mail staff will be striking in the coming weeks. This means only limited priority mail will be delivered and no collections will be taking place. Unfortunately this will cause a delay to both the dispatch and delivery of your orders.

Current planned strikes:

Thursday 24th November

Friday 25th November

Wednesday 30th November

Thursday 1st December

Any orders within the postal system on these strike days will likely be delayed by a few working days. Please allow extra time when placing orders to account for any disruption caused.

UK orders: The majority of orders are getting to their destination within the expected time, but there are a few orders that are taking a few extra days

International orders: Most orders are taking about 3 weeks to get to their destination. The orders are arriving within their destination country usually within a week, but there is marked slower transit through customs clearing. This is significantly prolonging the delivery time of some orders, taking almost ten weeks to arrive.

For more information about possible delays in the receiving country, please visit the Royal Mail incident bulletin here.
