Wonton Noodles Soup Linocut
A unique linocut print of a delicious bowl of wonton noodles topped with fresh vegetables. One of my favourite and comforting dishes cooked by my mother.
This print is inspired by the food my mother cooked for me when I was younger. I would come home from school tired, hungry and grumpy. My mother would quickly whip up a big bowl of soup stacked with homemade wontons and fresh vegetables, which I would slurp away at immediately. Everytime I see a bowl of wonton noodles, I think back to the warming comfort that this nourishing meal would bring me.
This print is a limited edition print based on an initial pencil sketch. The sketch is then transferred to traditional linoleum and carefully carved and printed by myself onto luxurious Kozo washi paper from Awagami Factory. This is a beautiful high quality acid free washi paper that is only 46gsm. It is natural white in colour with fibres visible on the surface of the paper.
This print is perfect for the food lovers that want a happy reminder of a favourite comfort food, and will fit right in on your kitchen wall.
